PIBURGER SEE LAKE

The Piburger See lake is located in a nature reserve at an altitude of 913m above Oetz. It belongs to the warm lakes in Tirol as the water temperature reaches 24°C. Swimming and boat facilities, buffet, restaurant. Discover the nature reserve and its beauties on the numerous hiking paths around the lake. Fishing is allowed for a fee (fishing pass, day pass)

HOCHOETZ

The state-of-the-art Acherkogel gondola takes you right to the heart of Hochoetz's breathtaking pasturelands, whisking you up from 820m to 2020m within only 8 minutes. Yu can choose from a huge network of well-marked walking oaths and hiking trails leading to the Kühtai area and the side valleys. Easy trails for less experienced hikers are available as well. For longer and more difficult routes good shoes, sunscreen, rain gear, enough to eat and drink, and a detailed trail map of the Ötztal Alps are absolutely required!
