The new skiing spectacle of Obergurgl's Ski School at Festkogl mountain: "Return of the Pioneers" describes the legendary history of skiing back  to its roots:

• Foundation of Gurgl Ski Club 100 years ago
• Emergency landing of stratosphere explorer Auguste Piccard on Gurgl's Glacier 80 years ago
• Development of snow sports in the Obergurgl Ski School since 1922 until now

Join us on this wonderful journey back in time.

• 40-minute Ski Show
• 8 km night ski run, Festkogl - village centre Obergurgl
• Night ski show and splendid fireworks
• Festkoglalm is open
• Mountain Party at the umbrella bar

Festkoglbahn in operation: 6.30 pm - 10.00 pm
9.30 pm - great fireworks
Last uphill ride: 10.00 pm
Last downhill ride: 10.30 pm

Without skipass: € 10,- per person

Jovial hut evening & traditional menu at the Festkoglalm mountain inn:
Tirolean barley soup or Viennese soup bowel
*** Ötztaler Bauernschmaus - Roast pork, smoked meat, liver sausage, sauerkraut and dumpling
*** Roast suckling pig with potato dumpling and red cabbage

Hot meals served from 7.00 pm to 8.30 pm.
