Top Quality-Skiing at its very best

112 kilometers of snow-sure ski runs in blue, red and black plus 25 top modern mountain lifts make the Obergurgl-Hochgurgl ski area a dream destination for discerning winter sports aficionados. Already in mid-November it will be one of the first non-glacier ski areas in Tirol to start the winter season. Beginners, families and real experts enjoy a maximum of variety on sun-kissed slopes (1800 - 3030 m) until late April. The latest highlight is the Rosskarbahn - the new comfort feeder lift from the village center to the Obergurgl ski area. Skiers and pedestrians can be transported with it from the village towards the mountain and also back to the valley.

Obergurgl Hohe Mut Winter Landscape

Safe winter sports without lift lines

In theory, the modern mountain lifts of Obergurgl-Hochgurgl can transport more than 43,000 passengers per hour. Even on peak days all winter sports fans reach the high Alpine ski slopes quickly as 6 feeder mountain lifts take them right from the valley floor to the ski mountains. This ensures plenty of space for long turns and more safety on uncrowded slopes. There is no other place where guests can fully indulge in their carving passion in such a comfy way and experience the authentic fascination of Alpine winter sports. However, the lift companies take their responsibility very seriously: in the event of avalanche danger or strong wind, all slopes and mountain lifts will be closed in the respective area - entirely in the interests of our guests.
