Public transport for wheelchair users

The railways offer a special assistance service for getting on and off for wheelchair using guests. Once arrived at the train station in Ötztal-Bahnhof, there is a bus stop directly in front of the railway building. Both the access to the bus area and the toilets are accessible for wheelchairs. The platform itself and the ticket office can be reached with a little help or an electric wheelchair. A ramp is available as well.

The "Ötztaler" bus company has its own wheelchair service. Please inform them about your arrival time already in advance by calling the information hotline on +43 (0) 5254 3550. The driver will be informed in advance and can help you when getting on and off the bus.

Well looked after during your holiday

The Medical Health Care & Holiday Group has a special service for holiday guests staying in Sautens, Oetz and Umhausen. A certified team offers daily care, accompanying service for visits to a doctor or hospital, social assistance and rental of therapeutic products.
