VenueMill in Pirchhütt
At the old 'Pirchhütter Mühle' in the district of Infang in Obergurgl, bread will be baked weekly this summer. Everyone is welcome to get an insight of the traditional way of baking bread. After the bread is baked, the delicious bread can be tasted and bought.
The local farmers are on site with their homemade products (Goaskas from the master cheese maker Martin, woolly pork bacon and chimney sausages from Ronald, and mountain meadow, alpine rose and cream honey from Gurgl beekeepers).
The Gurgl volunteer fire brigade provides drinks.
The bread baking takes place every Tuesday in July and August. In bad weather the alternative date is on Friday.
