Until midweek, we will remain in a continuously strong northwesterly current, due to that cold polar air masses will determine the weather. With frequently heavily cloudy conditions and bigger gaps in the clouds occasionally expected over the valleys, scattered snow showers are expected time and time again, which will be heavier only in the areas affected by northwesterly barrier effects north of the Inn. On Wednesday, the snowfall will generally slightly increase throughout the day and increasingly pass into rain below 1500m above sea level on Thursday. The wind will turn westward and provide for significantly milder Atlantic air, which will be very humid. Until into Sunday, longer intervals of dry conditions are not expected. Besides, it will become colder again at the weekend.
