The start is by the „Gehsteigalm” above Tumpen. From there you walk on the left side a fine line uphill. At first you walk in the direction northeast and on the crossroad left. After a while you see the hut, but from there you walk on a beautiful highway. At the end you have to climb up, but there is a rope that will help you.

The card drive to the Ötztal valley. Situated in Tyrol, the Ötztal valley set off in southerly direction and is the longest side valley in the Eastern Alps. The journey with the car leads you through the Inntal valley to the entrance of the valley and further on through the valley. Among the toll motorways you can also use the country roads.
