The demanding bike tour started in Sautens and initially leads through the town. The asphalt pavement ends after two kilometers. Now a forest path begins, which winds in countless bends through the forest into the Bärental. The entertaining cornering already whets the appetite for the descent. After a short flat stretch you reach the bike depot at the so-called Braggefleck (don't forget the lock). From there, the last 300 meters in altitude (impassable) to the Bärentalhütte can be completed on foot. Back at the bike, it goes straight on over the channel. In this area, the bike must be moved. After the short sliding section, the tour descends again to Haderlehn. Finally, you cycle through the village of Sautens to the starting point.

Author’s recommendation

The tour runs along developed trails and is easily ridable by e-bike or mountain bike.
