Passionate skiers, freeriders, ski mountaineers and snowboarders can deepen their knowledge about avalanche hazards, risk management in high Alpine regions and powder snow skiing under the expert guidance of certified Austrian mountain and ski instructors. This free workshop centers on classic avalanche awareness. Additionally, digital devices are presented - like the own SNOWHOW Freeride App and its reasonable use in mountain sports.

Meeting Point: 09.00 am, Base Station of Festkogl Mountain Gondola
Duration: approx. until 03.30 pm incl. lunch break at a mountain restaurant
Program: Cannot be planned in detail as it will be adapted to snow and weather conditions.

Required Equipment: - Ski or snowboard equipment (no ascending aid / skins erforderlich - no ascent)
- Helmet
- Goggles
- Backpack for carrying LVS, sonde and shovel

Admission is free. Limited number of participants. Provide your own lift ticket.
