The world as guest in the winter land

Its wide valley bottom makes the Gurgl valley a top destination for cross-country skiing, also referred to as "Nordic cruising". The Hochgurgl high-altitude trail runs through the alpine landscape of a plateau at an altitude of 2,000m and offers glacier views. Snowshoe hikers too will love Obergurgl. When the sun sets in the evening, the lights are switched on at the sport bars and restaurants. Obergurgl is known for its lively après-ski scene.
