On this hike, follow the Ötztaler Ache at the beginning in the direction of flow and later upstream. The starting point can vary depending on your mood. However, we start in Längenfeld at the campsite. In front of the campsite, on the right, there is a path between a tennis rink and a small river to a bridge. After crossing you stay on this path until you get to the road to Oberried. Now you cross this road and walk along the Ache to the hamlet of Au. Here the bridge is crossed again and on the other side of the river all the way back to Längenfeld. Finally, you pass a small pedestrian bridge. On the entire route you can enjoy the tranquility and a magnificent view of the mountains.
