Take the leisurely route from the information office towards Horlachtalweg trail up to Schweinfurter Hütte. Before you reach the hut, the path forks off to the left. Climb the steep slope in the direction of Weites Kar. Proceed to the next turn-off: the path on the left leads to Finstertaler Scharte ridge and Schartenkogel peak while the route on the right travels to Kraspesspitze along the mountain ridge. Great vistas of the Stubai Alps.
