From the Gasthof Brückenwirt you can hike along a wide hiking trail to the Zwieselstein sport field. There you cross a bridge and walk along the Venter Ache on a wide path towards Bodenegg. From Jausenstation Bodenegg you cross the river with the help of a wide wooden bridge and walk along the trail across the sports field to Zwieselstein.

Turn-by-turn directions

From Zwieselstein Gashof Brückenwirt on the wide path to the sports field Zwieselstein. Over a bridge to the right  and then the track along the Venter Ache. The trail runs first flat and then sloping up. Before you come to the road, you have to conquer a last small climb and then it goes flat on an asphalt road to the Jausenstation Bodenegg. On the way back, you walk from the Jausenstation Bodenegg  over a wooden bridge to the other side of the river and follow the trail to the sports field and to Zwieselstein. On the way back, the path goes flat to slightly descending.

Enjoy a comfortable and relaxing train ride to the train station Ötztal Bahnhof. You get off the train in ÖTZTAL Bahnhof where you change to a public bus or local taxi.

Getting there

The drive to the ÖTZTAL. Located in Tyrol, the ÖTZTAL branches off to the south as the longest side valley of the Eastern Alps. Arriving by car leads guests over the Inn Valley to the valley entrance and further along the Ötztal. In addition to the toll motorway can also be used on rural roads.
