A place in the sun, a lot of dark wood, easy to reach and farmed all year round - so you could summarize the plus points of the Nisslalm. It is also thanks to the hosts Albertina and Albrich Haller, who hold the position up here at 2,054 m above sea level 365 days a year. The views into the valley and the Winnebachsee hut make the trip a highly alpine experience. From the Gries parking lot, follow the road to the Sulztal and towards Sulztalalm, turn right (signposted) and climb up the Zirbenwald in evenly inclined bends. On the ascent please expect tobogganing. Finally, the forest clears - on a sunny balcony lies the 130-year-old Nisslalm. Rise like descent. The toboggan run runs along the ascent path, steeper sections alternate with slower passages. By the north-side orientation, the slope of the Nisslalm is relatively long snow-safe, usually from the beginning of December to the middle of April.
