Day 1

Ascent over Brunnenbergalm to Brunnenkoglhau. Rest and sleep at 2.738 m. Walking time: 4 h

 

Day 2

Descent into the Schönkar and climb to Wannenkarsee. Descent into the Windach Valley and Weitermarsch to Siegerlandhütte (2,710 m). Walking time: 5 h

 

Day 3

Fantastic hiking tour over the Gamsplatzl at 3.019 m. Short descent to Hildesheimer Hütte at 2.900 m. Dinner and sleep. Walking time: 3.5 h

 

Day 4

Ascent to the Gaiskarferner past the Jochdohle, continue to the Windacher Ferner. From there, descend down to the bottom of the lake to about 2,600 m. Ascent to the seearsee over the heavenly ladder to the Hochstubai hut. Walking time: 4.5 h

 

Day 5

Descent over the Laubkarsee to the Kleble Alm. Afterwards we return to Sölden. Packed with memories of a beautiful mountain tour.

Day 1

Ascent via Brunnenbergalm to Brunnenkoglhaus. Overnight stay at 2,738 m.
Walking time: 4 hours



Day 2

Descent to Schönkar and ascent to lake Wannenkarsee. Down to Windachtal valley, further on to Siegerlandhütte (2,710 m).

Walking time: 5 hours


Day 3

Dreamlike hike across Gamsplatzl at 3,019 m. short descent to Hildesheimer Hütte at 2,900m. Dinner and overnight stay.

Walking time: 3.5 hours


Day 4

Ascent to Gaiskar glacier past Jochdohle area, further on to Windacher Ferner. Descent via Fräulasköpfl to the area below lake Seekarsee at 2,600 m. Ascent to lake Seekarsee along Himmelsleiter to Hochstubaihütte.

Walking time: 4.5 hours


Day 5

Descent via lake Luabkarsee to Kleble Alm and back to Sölden. Plenty of picture-book images will stay with you forever!

 

Public transport

Enjoy a both comfortable and relaxing train ride to the train station in Ötztal Bahnhof. You get off the train in ÖTZTAL Bahnhof where you change to a public bus or local taxi. The current bus schedule can be found at: http://fahrplan.vvt.at

 

Getting there

Sölden is located in the western part of Austria in the state TYROL, in a southern side valley of the Inn valley - the ÖTZTAL. For your arrival by car, you can plan the best route from your home town with the route planner online at https://www.google.at/maps
