From the car park you follow Bergmahderwegtrail for a while, then you turn left in direction Narrenkogel. A steeply climbing path takes you to Bergle area, past a hunting lodge and wide open Alpine meadows. Here you keep to the right, walking on a strenuously ascending path towards the high Alpineforest, the treeline and further on to the peak along the mountain ridge.
