Top Mountain Motorcycle
Museum in Hochgurgl
Superlative Motorcycle Museum & more
The Top Mountain Crosspoint is the communicative heart of Hochgurgl. It combines the Timmelsjoch High Alpine Road toll station, the base station of Kirchenkar mountain gondola, a cozy restaurant with table service and Europe's highest Motorbike Museum under one roof. Guests who are a bit tired of snow are recommended to visit this place and dream of more horsepower for a while.
First of all, you don't have to be a fan of two-wheeled vehicles to go into a rapture here. Even the architecture of the showroom is remarkable, not talking about the exclusive exhibits. Over 230 historic motorcycles of more than 100 different manufacturers as well as a number of automotive rarities can be admired on the 3000 m² exhibition area. And as if one of the most extensive and most valuable collections in Austria still was not enough, themed special exhibitions are presented on a regular basis.
Admission: € 10.00 per person
Stop by and refuel
To round off the museum visit, we recommend a stop in the excellent restaurant with table service next door. Lots of wood, a bit of steel and a cozy open fireplace characterize this spacious, modern Alpine ambience. The expert kitchen team uncompromisingly relies on fresh, regional ingredients for preparing authentic dishes from Austria and Italy plus seasonal specialties from North and South Tirol.
