The red Lochle Alm Trail is about 1 km long and links quaint Lochle Alm and Kleble Alm. The route is rideable in both directions. There are no mountain lifts so you reach the trail only by using your own muscle power.

The trail from Kleble Alm towards Windachtal valley is nice and flowing but has some short and tiring ascents, plus one very steep downhill section at the end. Halfway up there is a walking trail fork-off towards Stallwiesalm - here you keep to the left! One of the big advantages of this trail: the forest soil is suitable for biking tours also in rainy weather.

Author’s recommendation

If black Single Trails are no problem for you because you have excellent biking skills, then try the Brunnenberg Mountain Bike Route (652) and choose the black Jägers Notweg Trail (673) leading to the Lochle Alm Trail. Please note: never underrate the challenging Jägers Notweg!
