The season times are only suggested by Ötztal Tourismus - they are not mandatory. Please note that the seasonal periods for some establishments differ from the seasonal periods recommended by us!

The resort tax and the price for the accommodation are charged independently as the resort tax contributes towards the costs of providing infrastructural services, such as the maintenance of walking trails, skibus shuttles, cross-country skiing routes, signposting systems, etc. No resort tax is charged for persons who have their 15th birthday within the running calendar year.
The following resort tax per person and night applies for the entire area of Ötztal Tourismus Tourist Board:
- Winter Season (01.11.2019 - 30.04.2020) € 3,00
- Summer Season (01.05.2020 - 31.10.2020) € 2,50
- from 01.11.2020 all the year € 3,50 per person
Every guest staying in an accommodation in the Ötztal is entitled to a guest card which is handed over to him by the accommodation.
Resort tax regulation for children:
2020: EXEMPTED FROM RESORT TAX born 2005-2020, RESORT TAX APPLIES for children born 2004 and older.
2021: EXEMPTED FROM RESORT TAX born 2006-2021, RESORT TAX APPLIES for children born 2005 and older.
2022: EXEMPTED FROM RESORT TAX born 2007-2022, RESORT TAX APPLIES for children born 2006 and older.
